Keiichi is eating one of Belldandy's lunches on campus with Belldandy, both of them enjoying being together. Keiichi's happiness is stopped when a troubled Megumi comes rushing up. It seems the school's baseball club has kicked the softball club off the field since the softball club doesn't have enough members to even form a team. The captain of the baseball team comes up to belittle Megumi. Keiichi and Belldandy both jump to her defense and it is decided that a game between the softball club and baseball club is in order to settle the problem. The stakes are the winning team takes over the losing team. Megumi gets to recruit outside players to fill her roster and they will play by softball rules. The baseball team captain agrees, figuring the team will now have beautiful women at their beck-and-call.

Back home, Skuld is upset that Belldandy is involved in this dispute while at the same time making a mechanical bat for herself. Urd and Keiichi have a humorous practice session while Belldandy and Megumi have a talk on why this is important to Megumi.

The day of the contest arrives with two new masked players coming in to play for Megumi's team - Otaki and Tamiya. Belldandy gets a walk and Skuld gets a hit. However, she gets tagged out when a baseball player treats her like a kid and she leaves the base. Later, Urd attempts to use trick pitches and is replaced by Megumi. The game continues with the baseball team devastating the softball team. Megumi is depressed by this and Sora blames herself since she's not a good player. Megumi assures Sora she's fine and a pep talk from Belldandy has the team ready to try again. Urd uses her sex appeal and everyone else tries their best which allows the softball team to catch up in the score. In the end, the softball team wins on a technicality, but Megumi no longer wants to take over the baseball club.
