Now that Keiichi has large, feminine breasts, Skuld
decides he should wear a dress if he wants to go out
and for some reason, Keiichi allows this to happen.
As Urd ponders love, she returns inside to see Keiichi
in a beautiful dress and bursts into a fit of laughter.
As she promises to find a cure for him, a shower of
plum petals begins to fall, marking the entrance of
Urd's former lover, the plum tree spirit Troubadour.
Troubadour
wants to get back with Urd and with his harp, starts
singing her impromptu songs. Since he is a very jealous
guy, he becomes suspicious of Keiichi despite his feminine
appearance. Once Urd rips off Keiichi's blouse to reveal
some large and very feminine breasts, Troubadour decides
no other man is around to vie for Urd's affections.
Thus he begins to attempt to woo her much to her annoyance,
especially since Urd doesn't know what his real motives
are. As such, Keiichi is stuck with his long hair and
breasts for the time being.
Troubadour
learns the truth about Keiichi when he hides inside
the bathtub for Urd to take a bath. Keiichi comes in
instead and shows he's all man downstairs. Troubadour
begins a musical spell to cause Keiichi's body to explode
with bugs. This causes Belldandy to rush to his defense
since she promised Keiichi she would not allow that
to happen. Urd solves the problem by knocking Troubadour
out. It is then that she discovers he still has the
ring she gave him many years ago. She is so touched
by this that she starts to cry. As a tear falls, Troubadour
captures it on a magic scroll. This was the final ingredient
he needed for his life quest to summon the Golden Nightingale.
He pays for this by being on the receiving end of Urd
Bolts.
The
next day, Troubadour proves he can be a really good
singer as he uses the scroll and a song to summon the
large bird. The bird then sings a beautiful song for
him. He fails to impress Urd though and the bird escapes
with his scroll. Troubadour is off to chase the bird
which means Urd is now free to cure Keiichi.
