Keiichi is worried about Skuld since he feels she's been acting weird since their outing at the beach. He consults with Urd in her lab. She briefly has a thought as to what might be the cause, doesn't seem too concerned. She has a hypodermic needle full of "medicine" that might solve the problem though. Beating a hasty retreat, Keiichi goes to consult Belldandy. She has a crystal ball which is displaying magic characters. He tries to ask her if goddesses have periods, but she doesn't understand the question. Deciding to take things into his own hands, Keiichi heads to the drugstore.

Meanwhile, Skuld is looking flushed in her room. She holds a small Banpei head, which she makes to resemble Keiichi. Having returned from the drugstore, he stops by Skuld's room with a small back and a small package. He offers congratulations to her and offers her the gifts. She rejects them forcefully, seemingly confirming Keiichi's suspicions. He leaves the gifts with her, telling her he understands and that she should talk with Belldandy. Skuld is confused, especially by the note Keiichi left in the package which contained a popular food snack. However, she eats the snacks, but doesn't know what to do with the feminine product he bought.

Later, Skuld completes a doll that looks like Keiichi. As she looks at it, she recalls him looking at her and saying "I love you." Even though she knows those words were meant for Belldandy, she can't stop thinking about it and it is frustrating her. Outside her window in a tree, chibi-Urd has been observing this with concern. She decides that she will have to tear down this bridge of love for Skuld's and Belldandy's sake.

Skuld drops by Keiichi's room and asks him to take her shopping. She doesn't need to shop, but wants to prove to herself that she hates Keiichi. As they leave, they are observed by a concerned Belldandy, standing on the top of the temple roof. Upon arriving at the shops, Skuld notes that it seems unusually crowded. The crowds throng them, forcing her and Keiichi closer together. In truth, this was the result of a spell cast by Urd. She figures her Mosh-Pit Hell spell will cause Skuld to become annoyed with Keiichi, thus resolving her feelings for him. Instead, Keiichi tries to protect Skuld from the crowds, thus causing her feelings to grow.

Seeing her spell isn't having the desired effect, Urd increases the power of it. Instead of being thronged even further, the crowds drift away from Keiichi and Skuld. Urd soon spots the culprit responsible for negating her spell - Belldandy. She asks Urd to leave them alone. Urd has no intentions of stopping, and when Keiichi attempts to buy Skuld a tool, she manages to take the money from him. Belldandy is there to make sure the money returns to Keiichi. They continue to battle each other in chibi form, Urd trying to cause trouble and Belldandy trying to prevent it.

Skuld continues to experience feelings of love and attempts to express them to Keiichi. As a last straw measure, Urd produces a long bow and targets Skuld with the Arrow of Lost Love. She feels that it is better for Skuld to feel some pain now rather than greater pain later when she can't have Keiichi. She fires the arrow, but Belldandy is there and casts an Anti-Force Shield spell. Urd demands to know why Belldandy is protecting Skuld and Keiichi, even if it means losing Keiichi. Belldandy is about to explain, but Skuld has heard enough. She angrily addresses Urd, then blasts Urd with her powers, causing the word "fool" to be tattooed on Urd's face.

Belldandy's thoughts have been confirmed - Skuld has just begun to obtain her powers as a goddess. Skuld is relieved that she isn't in love with Keiichi while Urd is frustrated that she can't remove the word "fool" off her face.
