Deep in a mountain cave, Mara has located the Urn of Mao Za Haxon. Now that it is in her possession, she starts the rites to activate the artifact so that she can be rid of the goddesses.

At the residence of the goddesses, a thunderstorm causes Belldandy and Keiichi to rush and bring in the laundry from off the drying lines. Belldandy is troubled that she had not sensed the storm's approach. Inside, the phone is ringing but neither Urd nor Skuld want to answer the phone. Urd makes up an excuse as to why she can't answer the phone. Skuld warns her about lying and challenges her to a match using a Skuld Bomb. The first person to pull the detonator has to answer the phone. Urd is confident of victory but loses all the same.

Belldandy and Keiichi return to Skuld fretting over a stunned Urd. The phone call had been from the Almighty One, suspending her goddess license. Belldandy explains the licensing system and states that certain activities like lying can cause a license to be suspended. Hearing this, Keiichi isn't surprised that Urd lost her license. She hears his remark and gets angry causing Bell, Skuld, and Keiichi to run outside to escape her wrath. Nothing happens proving that even Urd can show some restraint when she has to.

Since her license is revoked for fifty years, Urd decides to become human. Her first act is to go shopping since she can't use her powers to change her clothing. After Urd leaves, Belldandy and Keiichi take off on his bike to follow her. Urd heads to Megumi's house and borrows her motorcycle. She takes off without a helmet and soon the police try to pull her over. She decides to take off with the police in hot pursuit while Keiichi and Belldandy follow. As more cops enter the chase, Belldandy feels a strong darkness all around her while Urd hears a voice speaking to her. Urd wrecks, landing in a large pile of garbage. She decides to give up being human or goddess which the voice approves of. Since Urd can't use her powers, the voice offers her unlimited power and a personal servant.

As Belldandy rushes to the scene, she finds Urd changed and calling herself the Lord of Terror (LOT). Belldandy pleads with Urd to make her see reason, but the voice causes Urd to confirm her choice. LOT-Urd vows to return and make them plead for mercy before vanishing. At the same time, the Urn of Mao Za Haxon opens its eyes causing Mara to celebrate until LOT-Urd emerges from the smoke rising from the urn.
