Tamiya is firing up the Motor Club troops with the help of Urd and Megumi at the College Coed Golden Hammer Rally - the toughest endurance race on the college circuit. He's spent the entire club budget on this one race which means they have to win! Aoshima wants Keiichi to lose so that he will get Belldandy.

The first event is a go-kart race and Belldandy is the driver. Keiichi gives her last second advice when the American entry, Diana Lockheed, issues a challenge of sorts to Belldandy. Diana's boyfriend, Dave Proter, is a NASCAR driver and knows Aoshima. He makes inquiries about Belldandy's racing abilities which are very good. The race starts and Belldandy makes a mistake in the first turn. Diana thinks that maybe Belldandy isn't that good until she sees Belldandy right behind her, having set a course lap record. Having won that race, Tamiya is feeling better about having spent all of the club's money. He then details to Keiichi where all of the money went.

Keiichi is in the 2nd go-kart race which causes Aoshima to put his plan into action. He has paid off another driver who will block Keiichi and thus cause him to not only lose, but to have such a low time-score that the team will not qualify for the next race. Urd attempts to cheer Keiichi on by causing Belldandy's skirt to fly up and making everyone crash. Keiichi recovers, but now the go-kart's alignment is messed up and there is no time to fix it in the pits. Aoshima thinks he has won, but Belldandy and Urd combine their powers in a spell. Urd adds a little extra to the spell's end causing the go-kart to appear more sinister and have a mind of its own. His kart then smokes the entire field and he makes the qualifying time.
