Tamiya makes an announcement to the Nekomi Tech Motor
Club that they will be entering a race which uses Honda
Supercub bikes. Furthermore, Tamiya decrees that Belldandy
will be the team girl. To Keiichi's dismay, Tamiya has
bet with Etsushi Ohtaki that should they lose, Belldandy
will be Etsushi's team girl. Etsushi comes by the NTMC's
house to check out Belldandy and to gloat. Belldandy
is annoyed as she readily agrees to the bet. She then
orders Etsushi out by mixing a spell with her speech.
Keiichi is concerned and promises not to let Etsushi
near her. Belldandy isn't concerned and shows her appreciation
of Keiichi's remarks by embracing him and falling asleep
in his arms.
The
day of the race, the club members draw marbles to see
which race they will participate in. Keiichi draws the
marble which places him into the Ultimate Class - a
class where you can use a custom-built bike providing
a major part in the bike is a Supercub part. Otaki has
built a bike with only the brakes and front rim being
a Supercub part. This has Keiichi freaking out that
he won't have enough braking power.
Meanwhile,
Belldandy becomes aware of an unlucky star working against
Keiichi. As Keiichi's race begins, Otaki and Tamiya
discuss the bikes build and the corners taken to make
the bike lighter. The unlucky star begins to work forcing
Belldandy to cast a spell which causes the unlucky star
to be eclipsed by a lucky star. Keiichi wins the race
just as the unlucky star reappears causing the bike
he is riding to begin to fall apart. He uses the drag
chute only to discover it is a useless, tiny parachute.
Tamiya and Otaki think this is very funny and Keiichi
survives the bikes destruction. Belldandy rewards the
race winner with a happy embrace.
