In
later chapters, Urd mellows down. She becomes less impulsive
and temperamental, acquiring a kind of quiet maturity
that displays itself well in the Hild Arc (Volume 22).
Maybe this is because she has greater peace with her
demon side. The turning point might be in Chapter 89
(The Other Me), where Urd's angel World of Elegance
makes her debut. Since Urd was a child, she had always
doubted if she was a half-goddess and half-demon. However,
when she got her angel, her worst fears were confirmed.
World of Elegance, being a reflection of Urd, had one
wing black and the other one white as well as black
body markings. In her fright she asked her to never
appear again. Urd was able to summon her back in because
her need ("the wish of the soul", in Bell's
words) was greater than the command she uttered in the
past.

Urd
is the self-proclaimed love goddess of AMG. Since her
debut in Chapter 14, she has been trying to pull Keiichi
and Bell closer together. Her persistence is remarkable,
as is her uncanny ability to spot situations where she
might bring the couple closer. Most notorious of Urd's
methods are her love pills, which have been involved
in several humorous incidents. One of the most memorable
is in Chapter 43 (Trials of Morisato arc) where Skuld
inadvertently boosts the power of Urd's love potion,
turning Belldandy (in Urd's words) into a "total
sexbomb."

Urd
also has the dubious honor of being one of AMG's two
most quarrelsome characters (the other being Skuld).
Urd's relationship with her younger sister is tackled
under Skuld's
personality profile.
Belldandy
is the source of most of AMG's memorable quotes but
Urd has a few, betraying a depth of character that she
infrequently displays. One of Urd's most memorable quotes
is taken from Chapter 50 (Meet Me By The Seashore):

"There
are as many chances for happiness as there are stars
twinkling in the sky. But only a handful of people ever
reach out and seize them? Do you know why? Because no
one ever knows when and where their chance will come....Some
things are visible only to those with faith to see them."
